There's a hole in them. The plug holds the nostril open and the air
comes in and out through the hole. Take a look at the picture on the

One question If your not getting enough air in your nose to begin with
then how does this thing work by BLOCKING even more air that needs to come
in? Does this sound right to anyone? I just had a sleep study done 2 weeks
ago and from what my ENT told me this just doesn't sound right.

Interesting, so that means if you pay Cessna $100,000 for a new airplane you
should go over it with a fine tooth comb to make certain the engine or
associated components are perfect. In general, basically disregard the fact
that you have paid for a "professional" installation or product and given
This has been suggested before (maybe Mark L.?), I think, but I would first

That was due to the other aircraft he was traveling with. I would think
that most KRs would have a comfortable 350 mile range, even without
aux tanks.

Just to let everybody know: the young eagles program at EAA479

I am going to remove my header tank, at some point before the new engine
goes on, assuming that will happen. For a fuel supply, I am going to build
tanks, like Mark Jones', in my outboard wings. It should be a relatively
easy job to install the tanks in the wings, since they can be removed, taken
I am currently finishing up a welded aluminum header tank that will fit KRs
that can simply be bolted in (12gallons) and will be available for sale in
order to get rid of the composite header tanks. Questions about alcohol and
proper building procedures make this the way to go. This coming wee
Steve , no throwing under the bus has ever been done here. As someone who has
helped in many investigations in the past we can only go by what is known. We
know that there were no apparent electrical problems in the prior two flights
but after Cary had been working under the panel is when the

Mike,
I saw a Dragonfly with exactly what you describe on the right seat...a

Lee Vann Dyke stated that he has to stop every 200 miles for fuel which
reminded me of a question that I've been meaning to ask. I know that most
people need to make a bathroom stop before the fuel runs out but just for
arguments sake. If you were doing a long cross country and did not want to
1 hour in the pattern today and the engine performed perfectly. At one
point, it looked like it was running at 3600 RPM for a brief time straight

have to fly 5 hrs in the restricted area since the engine displacement has

Whatever the outcome of the investigation is, I think the speculation is
more damaging, especially to one's family if they happen to monitor the KR

You know If you live in El Paso Texas it is the only place you go east to be

Listen to you all. How do we get kids to want to fly and enjoy what we have the
