I just ported the SkyJUMP feature (right click on Layer View menu

situations like when you want to edit something but don't know what
layer it is on.

Michael,
I'll place a pause command at the end of the bat file to see what
error message I might get.
At least I know it is working on another computer. I'll try out the
1.2 D release on one of my home computers to see if I can duplicate
the changes.

Hi,
If you launch OJ application from a .bat file, add a "pause" instruction
at the end of the .bat file and read the error message from the
dos-console when the application freezes.
I get no special error with the latest source from svn.
Hope that helps

I don't think we need "continuous" translation either. It just seemed
like there was some unhappiness with our current support for other
languages.
Thanks for that information Stefan.
Can anyone else confirm a problem with the latest nightly build or 1.2
D release on Windows XP?
Note: I don't think this problem will disrupt the nightly build
process, as I didn't get any build/compile errors in Eclipse from the
latest code in the SVN.
Thanks
ok.. i just tested a bit..
and i think it is ok using the mouse center as zoom center.. it goes
slow, so that one does not recognize it realy.
cool work.. and also the new zoom tool

I was trying to track down another Null Pointer Exception in my
pluggable rendering code when a funny thing happened. My build of
OpenJUMP seemed to freeze on startup, after the splash screen
displayed.
So I figured I must have inadvertently created an infinite loop or
some other mistake in my cod

Hei Peppe,
an Italian translation was proposed by Ugo in winter - i think he asked
some friend or customer. But until now we did not hear again and Ugo is
currently working on other things. But if you think you can help to do
the translation it would be great.

Hi Peppe,
yep.. support via a plugin would be nice. I have never worked with xml
stuff.. so i can also not comment how hard it would be to inlcude the
jump stuff.
I think making a plugin for GDMS is a matter of time.

Should be possible.
I dont't feel it is necessary, but I'm ok to search for a solution if
someone tells me : I tried to edit features in snapping mode and I find
it confusing when I create new points because This way, I'll be sure
it is worth looking for a better solution :-)

What may solve confusion is if we deliver a message like "point set" in

Hi Stefan,
I guess I need to correct the misconception that OJ should use
SkyJUMP's installer. It use the commercial software Wise
(www.wise.com), which is OK but nothing special. What would be a good
idea is using SkyJUMP's launcher, since it is based on Eclipse. It

Hi,

Spatial- and Attribute Query put there results on a new layer
under the category Result.
The Query Builder puts the result under the category of the source layer.
Isn't it better for a uniform us

Hi Larry,
mhm.. i could try it next weekend. I used the null-soft installer for
now (i got some very simple script) but want to later use yours for the

Anyways it is interesting that is does not detect that you have 1.5
installed. (probably it is not set to default)
