i am using fedora11,
while opening DSPAM quarantine box my firefox was hanging , now i have
upgraded my firefox to "firefox-3.5-1" from
"firefox-3.5-0.20.beta4" . Again same problem was there . Anybody have
ideas.

Don't have a working system here,
I basically locate conf files and try to mess around with it and use
ifup and ifdown.

Why not simply remove the suid bit on the passwd binary? That way only root
can successfully execute the passwd command.
