it again and again.
As for lightweight winapi, HBWHAT had a lot of problems, so
it's no more. Some WINAPI's are now implemented
(hopefully properly) as WAPI_*() func

How about .hblib? No requirements that extensions be 3 chars, it's
more just a habit.
Not just a habit, Harbour (and of course hbmk2) also supports
DOS, and potentially other such limited OSes/file

The native interface is much faster than ODBC and ADO, because they
usually represent a layer on the native DLL if I remember well. So
here in the company we use whenever possible direct access to the
