Honestly. The question you *should* be asking is "What information exactly are you looking for in your reports?" rather than the OS and GC version. Gnucash has *always* (well, at least since I started using it in 2006) had issues with its reporting modules. The mechanisms are not easy to grok

You should show the Balance Sheet at the start of accounting period compared to Balance Sheet at the end of the accounting period. That with the Income Statement covers most of the items you requested. You might be able to get both Balance Sheet on one page with the multi report section. I have

I actually have two files - a personal one as subject and another for an organization where I am the treasurer. Both are appearing in the same log directory. Is that correct? It could be correct IF (for some bizarre reason) you had both data files (both sets of books) in the same directory.
