The answer is that you do not. It sits on a server in the web where it is
managed on our behalf by a few dedicated individuals.
If you are subscribed you will see all questions raised to the mailing list

It looks like you are subscribed to the mailing list.
One of the options when you sign up is to choose whether you receive
emails from the list in a single email, the daily digest. The other
option if you didn't choose to get the digest email is to receive all
emails by all users as ind
Since I haven't seen it suggested yet, I'll pipe in with how I
participate in this list.
I subscribed as everyone else suggested, but I don't want to be deluged
with e-mails, so I turn off the digest and the forwarding of all e-mails.

I'm experiencing a unique issue with GnuCash 5.8 on Windows 11. Whenever I try
to enter the date 08/09/2024 (in dd/mm/ format), it automatically changes
to 07/09/2024. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

Do you not find it on File » Properties » Business? If that's not what
you're looking for, where exactly is this "company name" that you want
to change?

To edit the company name in your set of books choose File->Properties
from the menu and then the Business tab on the dialogue which opens up.
In this dialogue you can set options which are specific to the
[particular set of books if you are dealing with multiple accounting
entries.

I'm replacing a failed Ubuntu computer with a new one. I have managed
to recover all of the data files with "gnucash" in their names. My
Household.db.gnucash file is readable with sqlite3, but no matter how I
try to open it, gnucash always reports "No suitable backend." Both
machines

It’s an editable field. You can change the text just like any other editable
