Mutual fund is a very American term. Can you give an example fund? I assume
you are referring to a managed fund that is not directly traded on the ASX,
unlike an ETF (Exchange Traded Fund).

You need the QuickBooks class feature, it works, I've been using it
for years. GnuCash doesn't have classes but you can use Filter Reports to
filter characters (tags) on split memo, transaction notes, or transaction
description. The problem with this is the report will only match the filter.

?? Importing Bank Statements works fine and saves the data entry issues.
Certainly, other means are required to verify the data. A duplicate
insurance payment was identified straight away after importing a bank
statement for tax reporting.
