Yes I know it's an individual account setting that can be turned off
individually for some cc's, by cancelling at the right point in time (is it
on the "Transfer Funds" dialog?), it's not very intuitive whatever it is.
Turning it on seems to make it active for ALL of my cc's which I turned it

I'm sure its an individual account setting.

Try toggling it off and on to see if it resets all cards ? I normally
don't use this at all so I have it unchecked as I rely on scheduled
txn's to enter my monthly cc payment. I just went into preferences and
checked it on then did a dummy reconciliation of one of my cards. At the

But David, how would this setting affect some credit card accounts, but not
others?

They also have to be of 'type' Credit Card, not just basic liability

Thanks John,
Haven't used Windoze for over 12 years so I'm more than a little bit rusty
on how GnuCash worked on it.
Andrew you may need to let us know where you installed GNuCash from and
whether it is a flatpak or other similar sandbox system

Andrew,
As Michael pointed out, there is no real need in GnuCash to start a new file
each year. The report structure is designed to produce appropriate reports
as required. You just need to setup the options for the report after opening
a copy of the report.in the window (menu is context sensitiv

If you mean GnuCash installed by gnucash-4.4-setup.exe from our download sites,
it doesn't and th
I'm using GnuCash v. 4.2 on Linux Mint and have a strange problem: on some
of my credit card accounts, after I complete the reconcile process, I get
the pop-up window that lets me go ahead and enter the payment information
for that bill. That is my desired state.
But on some of them, I do NOT get
Nigel,
Not sure with Windows 10 but on Linux this would likely be not having one of
either libdbd-mysql, libdbd-pgsql or libdbd-sqlite3 runtime libraries
installed. AFAIK GnuCash on Windows 10 uses the Cygwin Linux emulator so
the cygwin version of these should work if they are not already instal

When I came in check & repair was in an infinite loop in accounts receivable.
The progress log shows it counting up to about 1000 out 6614 and then
restarting at 0. Not clear whether a profile of check and repair is useful.
System is relatively unresponsive while I try to interrupt it

Hi
Fully updated Windows 10.
GnuCash 4 3.
Rebooting doesn't help. Reinstalling doesn't help.
