Folks:
Having developed high blood pressure due to the incredible time waste
involved in trying to get anything other than lowest-common-denominator
video running on linux... I thought I'd ask you all for recommendations
that you know *do* work.
So I'm looking for some combination of video c

Hmmm, when you say it looks "splotch" do you mean that it just looks
pixelated? or that there are wholes in it? I would expect that the
ribbon would fill in all the space between the two surfaces with some
voxels jutting out beyond the surface.
Your interpretation of delta is correct

Hi Doug,
I tried lowering delta to really low values, eg., .001, but it doesn't seem
change things much. Under ideal circumstances, would I expect the space between
the white and pial surfaces to be completely filled?
Also, I noted the -help states that delta is relative to the thickness at

Project the label along the surface normal. type can be abs or frac.
abs means that the start, stop, and delta are measured in mm. frac
means that start, stop, and delta are relative to the thickness at
each vertex. The label defin

This is an unusual error, since tkmedit and tksurfer do not use the ITK
library. To figure out how libitk3.2.so is being referenced, can you
send me the output of this command:
ldd `which tkmedit`
I suspect there is some conflict between the FSL setup and Freesurfer,
as FSL does use ITK

Hi Martin,
the control points won't hurt the aseg unless you actually put them in the
basal ganglia or thalamus. As long as they are clearly in wm you should be
fine.

Hi, I'm using a lot of control-points (typically 200-500) to compensate
for intensity inhomogeneities in my images.
This tends to create a rather uniformly looking white matter without any
clearly discernible anatomical landmarks, such as the basal ganglia,
etc. Does this mean that the subcortic
