u can also edit your signatures. I guess it is there from 2.2 itself. I dont understand what you mean by "ALL REFERENCES TO THEM, AND THEM AS WELL" Can you elaborate this? If you want to edit the mails that you have already sent with the signature, it is not possible, since mails are immutable.
