qt-components-devel package is just there for a while to make porting process
for silica components easier.
Most likely that package wont be available on release repositories, so you
really should not depend on that package existing.

I havent tried with any proxy. However, I would guess that MerSDK uses the
default host proxy settings.
The network connections are defined in the VM settings. You may check them in
the Virtual Box GUI -> MerSDK->Network.
