Though also, yes, a "Windows Boot Manager" option might be chosen as the
default sometimes, likely as most users are expected to be using Windows.

that Lenovo can't send the kek update to
all UEFI and Secure Boot-supported devices regardless of whether those
devices are normally lvfs supported. Same for Dell.
At least for me it seems to be a extremely generic update that doesn't rely
on hardware specific characteristics as

might be Microsoft's certificate along with some other Dell stuff.
Is Linux ready for the Microsoft certificate expiring next year?

Apparently H264 patents expire on August this year (the most relevant
patents on most countries, there may be exceptions). I guess by then things

Maybey something in the authselect config broke?
Maybe the output from `authselect current` on those machines could be helpful...
Although if you did do changes outside of authselect that might cause
problems as well...

AFAIK both can be easily installed via COPRs though. So, I don't know how
much it would benefit from official support.

So, I would guess using the Windows boot option directly is the easiest way.
I won't have a source for what I said right now, but likely searching for
Secure Boot + TPM2 issues when dual booting will help
