First off, good luck with your presentation! I wish I could be there to
cheer you on.

Can you double check, I'm sure Alex will confirm that currently 0.01 and 0.02
will fail 100% of the time.

Given short time frame it probably not possible to fix and release a new
installer before then. What's your preference re leaving FlexJS in the
installer or not?

Just FYI, I will be presenting at the HTML5 Dev Conference on FlexJS on
Tuesday morning(PST) I hope that there will be some interest generated and
folks would attempt to download FlexJS after the conference. It would be
nice to have the Installer serve up FlexJS properly by that time.
Also, rele

That’s a good segue to a broader topic. Some projects are trying to get
analytics on downloads by doctoring
If you can put together a simple test case it will make it easier for
someone to look at.

I’m surprised any worked, unless it was my installation of the nightly
build.
There is no way to override the SourceForge URL for Jburg. I suppose we
could blog or something about the fact it is broken, but theoretically,
folks should complain on one of the mailing lists and we can tell them to

Hi,

Because they occur in clusters/peaks on the google analytics graph. Looking at
the 4.13 SDK it looks like at least 1/3 of the MD5 failures can be directly
related to the MD5 being out of date. If it is was just from an AIR or

It's 100 different people ie unique views in google analytics.

Hi,
The download-flexjs.html page is already getting a number of visits (about 30
people/day during the week) so it may be that some people who can't install
with the installer are going there. There's no way of telling if people
download anything after going to that page but it would be safe

Hi,
Here's a sample to test out spelling working in spark components:

Hi,
Of the 61 attempted installs of FlexJS in the last week only 1 worked.
I just tried to instals Flex JS 0.02 three times and every one failed.
(Installer caching is turned off)
Errors varied, first time:
The Apache FlexJS MD5 Signature of the downloaded files does not match the

Hi,
We still having a high level of installer failures over the last week it
sitting at over 100 install failures a day.
Most common of there relates to unable to create temporary directory on windows
(now fixed) but for the last week we have:
unable to create temp dir (x180), 2032 (x 90), MD5
Ok so I did a little more testing.
To me it seems as if there were currently some troubles with multiple source
paths as in my builds all those compilations are failling in which there are
multiple source paths:
- Module without tests, but with generated sources (src/main/flex and
target/gene
Great job! The changes look ok. At some point we need to figure out why
the first state didn’t become the default state and get applied properly.
It should work like it does in current Flex.

Hi,
JFYI looks like Java 1.8 improves compile time for the Flex SDK on OSX.
Using Java 1.8 - 2 minutes 41 seconds
Using Java 1.7 - 3 minutes 58 seconds
But as they say your mileage may vary.
Thanks,
Justin
It looks like the root cause of this issue is that there is no
initialStateHandler_ method in SimpleStateImpl.js. As the name indicates,
this is responsible to handling the initial state.I added this method.
I also had a manually set currentStae = for this states
example to work.
