Sure, I can fix it in my systems, and have done so. But other users
using the default settings will still have a potential security
vulnerability in their systems.
And the X11 files is a case we know about; there might be other programs
using /tmp in a similar way (such as the TigerVNC case), and
Testing evince, evince-common, libevdocument3-4t64, libevview3-3t64
version 46.3.1-0ubuntu1 on Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS.
Verified the test plan, and verified that when overwriting the currently
opened PDF the view refreshes accordingly.

Issue is still present in Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS, at least with upgrade from
previous LTS (and this was not an issue before upgrade). Mentioned
