I can confirm that Michael's solution also fixed it for me. I didn't
have the 19.10 config to hand so I extracted default.pa from the .deb

Just happened to me again on focal. Annoyingly, the act of taking a

enabled=true` in about:config, restart firefox, and see if it
reproduces. Then after that, try setting `gfx.webrende
I have the same problem. For me `layers.acceleration.force-enabled=true` solves
this font problem, but generates another. Now in all menus, the mouseover/hover
highlighting/selection of the menus is sometimes not shown (For example: Right
click on the website, move your mouse over the menu items

The dock has become inactive. Its not clickable and its not hiding
automatically. Also cant switch between apps. Mouse is not clickable in
desktop. On running dmesg "drm:intel_pipe_update_end [i915]] *ERROR*
Atomic update failure on pipe A".

For all who used the workaround #61: The current update xserver-xorg-
video-amdgpu-hwe-18.04:amd64 19.0.1-1ubuntu1~18.04.1 19.1.0-1~18.04.1
overwrites the file /usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers/amdgpu_drv.so (file
date May 21 09:16) and the bug returns again.

I've found a workaround for the issue: using `nm-connection-editor` I've
put my company's domains into the list of additional domain searches,
and this makes the split tunnel works with the domains propagating
correctly.
