Thanks Gunnar, it seems like firefox should deal with other encoding but
if the encoding change is not confusing other users or the dict (unsure
which other programs use it) then I guess it's fine to do as a
workaround, uploading

of the formulas I am using, it can consume a large portion of the page,
hiding many cells I would like to be able to click on to add to the
formula. This forces me to save the formula incomplete, lookup the cell

fixed somewhere, now, after yesterday's update it is back again.

I don't agree this is a "wishlist" thing. Firefox should be able to use
KOI8-R encoded hyphenation dicts as other applications are, so this is
indeed a bug.

Also language-options returns just "ja" for Japanese, so that would
explain the continual not installed messages in gnome-control-center
although that would be harmless.
