longer honor the mount points I have manually chosen for my removable

The new "Ambiance" theme makes it quite hard to see whether the shutdown
dialog has focus or not, making this bug even more annoying. Try to
guess from this screen shot, at a glance, whether the shutdown dialog
has keyboard input focus or not. But one really shouldn't have to guess!

unless the user intervenes. In my opinion, the rest of the screen should

Opening the same document in Adobe Reader 8.0 produces a warning dialog
about not being able to load the embedded font Arial Bold. The document
looks OK though, whereas in evince or other poppler-based readers only a
fraction of the text is displayed.
I really think evince should warn the user
I'm seeing this occasionally. Only a kill -9 will do.

I have poppler-data installed already; that solves some other problems
but not this one. I'm still on 10.10, so nothing has changed. I'll
