Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evince

When trying to view a PDF file received from my accountant, I found that
evince did not display more than a fraction of the text, and it was very
sluggish, running at nearly 100 % CPU. I soon received a system warning
about my root file system being almost full, and on examination I found
that my /tmp directory had some 113,000 files:

p...@barbaren:~$ ls -l /tmp/?????? | head
-rw------- 1 pang pang 34930 2010-05-20 11:13 /tmp/005MG8
-rw------- 1 pang pang 34930 2010-05-20 11:13 /tmp/00KYxC
-rw------- 1 pang pang 34930 2010-05-20 11:13 /tmp/00mhUy
-rw------- 1 pang pang 34930 2010-05-20 11:13 /tmp/00vnnX
-rw------- 1 pang pang 29443 2010-05-20 11:13 /tmp/0161Ia
-rw------- 1 pang pang 34930 2010-05-20 11:13 /tmp/01dU6E
-rw------- 1 pang pang 34930 2010-05-20 11:13 /tmp/01H252
-rw------- 1 pang pang 34930 2010-05-20 11:13 /tmp/02brKC
-rw------- 1 pang pang 34930 2010-05-20 11:13 /tmp/02Tcxo
-rw------- 1 pang pang 34930 2010-05-20 11:13 /tmp/042ZX2

Starting evince from a console produces an enormous amount of repeating
output:

some font thing failed
Error: Found a bad table definition on true type definition, trying to
continue...
