Thank you for your attention to this bug report. It had been so long since
I submitted the report that I upgraded to Lubuntu 18.04.1 in the interim.
Since Lubuntu uses File Manager PCManFS rather than Nautilus, [CODE] gvfs

This also affects Ubuntu 14.04 & Ubuntu 14.10 beta as of 11 October
2014. Lubuntu 14.10 beta is also affected, so this seems common to bluez
as well as blueman.

As a comparison, Lubuntu 14.04 using Blueman and ath9k is able to pair,
connect and stream audio using A2DP. On a diferrent notebook, Ubuntu

or bluez?) and iwlwifi only occasionally pairs with the same headset and

There may be light at the end of the tunnel - Ubuntu 14.10 beta 1 as of

eject CD's & DVD's after burning, but the file manager & other

I have the same issue with brasero not ejecting CD's or DVD's after
burning; other apps will eject (e.g. Ruby Ripper).
With no CD or DVD inserted, my CD/DVD drive as listed from 'sudo lshw | less'
is:

product: CDDVDW SN-208AB
This behavior in Brasero occurs when burning an iso image to a CD-R or
DVD-R; it does not occur when copying directly from CD to CD.

Fixed for me in Ubuntu 9.10 final.
I noticed in 9.10 beta that the volume control by default seemed to be
set to minimum volume level; if you're having problems with sound be
sure to recheck your volume because an update may have changed it.
