Sebastian: Sorry to take so long to reply; family crisis. Using VBox 3.1.6 r59338 w/Guest Additions and Ubuntu 8.04.4 host, as a guest OS neither Karmic nor Lucid beta will recognize and mount a blank cd (this may be due to VBox). The host, Ubuntu 8.04.4 will mount and display the blank cd under the Places Menu, but does not show the blank cd on the desktop. I do not have the capability to run my machine from one Live-CD while mounting another to be able to test Karmic or Lucid directly on my hardware; I only have one computer (my notebook). Like many others I am waiting for Lucid Final to update to a current OS. Glenn
