Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

Ubuntu Hardy Heron 8.04.3 with updates as of 29 Oct 2009.

nautilus:
  Installed: 1:2.22.5.1-0ubuntu3
  Candidate: 1:2.22.5.1-0ubuntu3
  Version table:
 *** 1:2.22.5.1-0ubuntu3 0
        500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com hardy-updates/main Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
     1:2.22.2-0ubuntu4 0
        500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com hardy/main Packages

When I insert a blank cd, it spins longer than usual. When it quits spinning,
the blank cd does not appear on the desktop. However, it does show up in
Places>Blank CD-R Disk. I am able to select an iso image from my Download
folder, right-click on it, and burn the iso to the CD.

If I select Places>Blank CD-R Disk, I get an error message: "Could not
open location 'burn:///' The default action does not support this
protocol."

This has not been a problem in the past, but I don't burn a lot of CDs.
