That's a GNOME bug: the one-part GNOME menue uses the three-part menue (apps,
system, places) and its style options. It's unlikely to be fixed as a new GNOME
menue is in work and will probably be released with GNOME 2.22. But if someone
wants to hack in, a fix for 2.20.1 would be possible.

According to upstream this isn't a bug at all, but is desired behaviour.
Apparently it's the user's fault because GTK+ can't tell that the "user

The list of recently-used applications is properly written (although I
had a single entry which was not prefixed with `file://', the
application browser launched by main-menu; other applications launched
through it are saved correctly). I also confirmed this with a test
program using GtkRecentManag

It's not easily reproduceable. But it only happens with metacity not with
compiz.
They difference between them is purely graphical (the on-screen volume slider
thingie), so we can only expect that this is where it is triggered. The top of
the stack trace above also suggests this (libgtk-x11-2.0.

Please revert the changes made with respect to font defaults from Feisty
to Gutsy. As it stands, I have HUGE fonts in Gutsy, even though my DPI
is *technically* set correctly (114 dpi). The 11pt menu font only makes
this worse. As it stands, I always have to adjust the fonts after the
install -

I have similar problems playing internet radio and get the same error
"unknown error" than stratosphere and Fabio. Rhythmbox version is
0.11.2, gutsy tribe 5 and the radio stations are Radio 3 (Radio Nacional
de España - http://www.rtve.es/rne/audio/RNE3.asx) and Cadena SER
(http://www.cadenaser.c
Sucks that this actually affects those lucky enough to have working
hardware.

If I rightclick and search for network (or netwerk in dutch), a blue
telephone is added to the panel (directly, no options). On other words
like internet or internetverbinding I get al kinds of icons but not the
