Hi Claudio Glad to know that you solve your problem, since it wasn't really a bug, i'm closing this report as invalid. If you have another problem that you think it's a bug don't hesitate in report it, any kind of help is deeply apreciated..
By the way, in gnome-system-monitor you could press Ctrl + D or select Dependencies under View and you will be able to see which process own what, so you could try to identify the owner of your gzip/tar process and hopefully find the source of the issue. If you have a question that you think isn't really a bug, but you still want to ask someone or you just have a question, you could try the support tracker here at http://answers.launchpad.net/. ** Changed in: gnome-system-monitor (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Invalid -- gzip appears under 'top' command but not in system monitor list https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/137358 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug contact for gnome-system-monitor in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
