I've the same problem. Using Jaunty on an HP530c (p4-2.66). I upgraded
to Jaunty about a month ago yet this problem only just cropped up. It
happens any time the computer is left alone for a couple of minutes -
very annoying. Power manager is set to 'never' put screen to sleep.

I have solved my problem. I installed a package called DeVeDe through
synaptic package manager which encodes the movie to an ISO file, and
then I burn it with K3b. This works for me.
However the original problem with bresaro is still there, I just found
another way to do the same thing.

There is another case where this behaviour can be reliably reproduced:
undocking and redocking a laptop. I do this frequently at work, and my
setting (using Caps Lock as another control key) always has to be reset

For me that vino remote desktop server was loading gconfd. Trick that
fixes problem is to kill vino-server after GNOME login.
pkill -9 vino-server
Then, it resurrects back but stops flooding gconfd.

I vote for a new icon only. Two Alt+PrtScr and 15mins in GIMP resulted
in the attachment here. The final icon should be less theme-like (say
more symbolic) and *.svg.
I like the fact that in a Linux Desktop nearly every text is selectable!
So I would miss the textfield mode of Nautilus paths. The
added upstream target for gtk and nm-applet.

Since I seem to confuse people, here's a screenshot of what I mean. The
test.crt belongs to root and has mode 600, so it's not listed, but
appears in the completion. I don't really know if this is a bad thing,
but seems somewhat inconsistent to me.

I just started getting this in Jaunty, after an auto-update which I
believe included a kernel update.
Not sure if this is a known bug in Jaunty, too, and/or if Jaunty's got
its own issue associated with it.

Thank you for your bug report, that's not a bug though, the option is
off by default in jaunty because there it couldn't tell the difference
between microsoft and linux ones and most of those files are not working
microsoft versions, that is fixed in karmic though

olympus cameras. yours requires opening many images. please can you file a new
bug against gimp.
