Someone offered a bugfix. I don't remember exactly what was the case -- vaguely
remember that the guarddog in my computer was stopping me from connecting to lo
and that caused a lot of problems including evince not working and things like
that.
Close it, I think that it is fixed.

I have two nfs servers, one runs a kernel-space nfs3, the other runs unfs3.
I'm able to mount shares from either nfs server (with the nolock option):
192.168.2.10:/homeExt /homeExtnfs defaults,nolock

Gnome's developer marked this as won't fix, they claim Gnome's window
manager is not Compiz, but metacity. So Ubuntu should change or provide
a new tool for taking screenshots since Ubuntu enables compiz by default
on capable hardware.

I just had a similar sounding problem on Hardy. I also had to close
evolution from a terminal. I seem to have fixed it (for me at least) by
starting it in offline mode from the terminal
$ evolution --offline

When I send an email using evolution the email sent does not go to Sent Item
from my Exchange Mailbox, it's go to local Sent Items and evolution does not
read my contacts global list from my Exchange mailbox.

Example:
On a windows pc, send a document created in WordPad to a linux user with
hotmail. Make sure the user had AbiWord as the defaults picked through
Nautilus. Click the attachment and open. It said AbiWord, but opens in
OpenOffice.org instead.
