Public bug reported: Binary package hint: rhythmbox
Release: Ubuntu 8.04 (hardy) Kernel Linux 2.6.24-16-generic Package version: 0.11.5-0ubuntu8 Plugin version: N/A Preliminary info: Some of my music files "title" ID3 tags also contain track numbers i.e: Title: "04. foobar" (instead of just "foobar") Artist: "Ubuntu" etc. What I expected to see: The lyrics plugin to ignore the "04. " in the title, and search only "foobar", then display the lyrics What actually happened: The lyrics plugin searches for the entire title, "04. foobar", thus returning "No lyrics found." Possible solution: The plugin should ignore non-alphabetical characters in ID3 tags.
