Gaim crashes when I receive an animated emoticon, even if I disable
them. It seems to work fine with standard, non-animated emoticons. I'm
attaching a backtrace of the crash. I'm using an updated edgy system;
gaim version: 2.0.0+beta3.1-1ubuntu9.

I'm sorry for spamming the bug list. I don't really expect people to
jump to fix the bug, but I'd like at least to know what package is
responsible for it (maybe I can reinstall it), places to look for error
messages, anything.
I tried checking the logs you mentioned. This is what I did: I opened

The program crashed when i tried to play an mp3 file. Howewer It
happened just after the installation from Synaptic of the gstreamer
codec package..Even Rhytmbox doesn't work.
