Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-panel
This could be a duplicate of any one of the similar apport logs that have already been reported, but I don't currently have the necessary knowledge to make that call. I wasn't doing anything special when the crash occurred, I think I may just have switched windows using alt-tab.
