In an attempt to improve menus in Debian, I have made a review of the
menu entries provided by xbase-client.

thanks for the information. Im already in the process of
testing the patches based on DanielS X4.3 packageds and fixing a bunch of
small issues to prepare a more complete report to the X people. I already
subscribed there since a while. I hope to get the support from al

take your patches upstream. If you're still interested in pursuing

First off, I don't want to prevoke a flame war. I've read most of the
arguments that I can find, and there's little point in going over old
ground, if possible.
On the bug report, Branden suggested that, were someone else to do it,
he would support the creation of a sepa

Based on the information here, I looked up the change. Here's the
corresponding comment from my rcs log:
revision 1.266
date: 2001/09/20 00:43:41; author: tom; state: Exp; lines: +0
In 4.2.1-7 prerelease packages, this bug now causes the
machine to lock hard. I have also determined that the
trigger of this bug is the NerveRot XScreenSaver hack,
possible with the default or the "dense" settings. Give it
a try, lock your machine hard.
