Yeah, I thought it looked a bit funny when I added the 2000 events to the
list, but since I don't know Perl (working on it, though), I couldn't figure
out how to do it good...

given year in forward order is confusing.
Ignoring past events for a second, the next event (the nearest
in the future) probably should be first, at the top of the list.
(That is, all (future) events should be listed in chronological
