I'm working with a Debian testing distribution, and i have no sound
anymore for 1 week. My problem grew in 2 steps, each time probably
after a "apt-get upgrade" :
1/ Several weeks ago, the sound stopped working after each reboot. To
solve that, i run "alsaconf", which detected the sound ca
_mpu401_uart,snd_rawmidi,snd_seq_device
soundcore 9216 1 snd
which seems to indicate that the module is actually loaded.

have been upgraded to potato so I think it's a bug and not a misconfiguration.
I now potato is called "unstable" for something but I hope somebody has
a workaround or fix for this.

for libc6. Is it possible to run it somehow. I get a lot

loose permissions, ownership and the /dev and /proc directories
wright? Using tar should fix the permissions and ownership but I'm
still not sure what will happen with /dev and /proc.

Hi,
can anybody tell me how to enable iso9660 support in a 2.0.34
kernel. There doesn't seem to be an option when I do 'make menuconfig'.

I want to connect an AGFA StudioStar scanner to my

Howdy,
we are looking for software (pref. commercial) that will implement
complete failover between two Linux servers (incl. filesystems).
Does anybody know of any server that can do this?

driver disks in the disks-ppc directory, but there is no boot disk
and no info on how to start the installation.
