Yes, it works. At least I have used it with versions of Samba up to 2.0.8.
But I see no reason for which it should not work for newer versions as
well.

We use AntiVir MailGate for Linux together with sendmail on several
mail servers, both on leased-lines and on dialup connections, and it works
very well. You can find i

I don't know if it is the "best" Web mail system, but I'm very happy
with NOCC: http://nocc.sourceforge.net.

One way is to use Samba on the Linux box and MS Client 3.0 on the DOS
client. You can find more info on your local Samba.Org mirror (I suppose
it is http://pl.samba.org). The MS Client can be found at

Hello,
Sorry for the slightly off-topic question, but I am not sure to what
extent it can be Debian 2.0-related...
I have managed to install Debian 2.0 on an older AT&T Globalyst S10
server, which ran NetWare 3.12 for a couple of years.
The first strange thing was that I had to use the tecra resc

I happened to experience problems similar to yours while trying to install
a NE2000-compatible Ethernet PC Card, and I solved them by downloading the

Yes, I can confirm that.
Hello,
I've just built a custom 2.0.33 kernel using the make-kpkg for a new ASUS

the following error message:

Hello,
I've just picked up a copy of the latest issue of the German magazine
CHIP Extra (Issue 1/98), which comes with a CD-ROM containing Debian 1.3.1

but I could not check that -- at least not yet).
