I have been using the kaffeine-mozilla plugin to play streams in my web
browser (firefox)
This has been fine tell the otherday, for no apparent reason streams are
failing to play. Kaffeine just sits there saying "Connecting HTTP Server".

Are you using it correctly? It will only show the directory you tell it to
show. ls -d foo will show the directory foo. ls -d or ls -d * will not do

is deprecated. Simply ignoring it would seem fine, but ... a bug report

Looks like you deleted the /lib/modules/modprobe.conf file,
you will have to restore it and then run mkinitrd -o...

Another option is the HP OfficeJet 7130. I have one, it
can be used either with USB or network (with card), and is
one of their all-in one. Fully supported by HP on Linux
(Open Source, even), both scanning and printing. Have had
no problems at all with it, works great.

Is any familiar with the console feature that narrows the tab
completion. For instance if you type tar and hit tab, it will only
return the valid files with appropriate extensions, not every file in
the directory. I believe it was a feature in Knoppix but I am not sure.
