I have installed the hamm quake2 package on my hamm system. When I run
it it runs for a little while and then locks my machine up hard. No
three finger salute, no telneting in, nothing. This happens under both
X and svgalib. I end up having to do a cold reset!! Not what I like to

I have hamm and wu-ftpd-academ ver 2.4.2.16-9 installed, but when I log
as anonymous i can't see directory listings.

I've tried to compile the kernel-source (-2.0.33 && -2.0.34) with
make-kpkg. I've got some messages i cant explain to me.
First make xconfig returned:

the info that scrolls across my screen (on bootup) when /etc/init.d/boot is
executing. Is this message sent to a log file or something? How can I look
at this after booting?
