It is actually possible, however, to use transpile the JavaScript files from
x86_64
for 32-bit PowerPC so that NodeJS is actually not needed. The Debian package
does
not implement such a mechanism at the moment though while Oracle does it on

for SPARC [1].

Hi all,
I found a way to boot the recent Debian installer images and to boot the
created disk. In the example I created a 20G debian12.qcow2 file.
Install from the NETINST-1.iso:
qemu-system-ppc \
-L pc-bios \
-boot d \
-M mac99 \
-m 2048 \
-prom-env 'auto-boot?=true' \

Hello!
The configure scirpt for src:mpich is run with --with-ucx on ppc64 despite
the architecture not being whitelisted in the architecture check in
into drives that are sliced and diced
to contain a number of systems . . . .
I used to run installs "install alongside OSX" back in the day . . . I
can't recall if the Debian installer offered me that option recently when I
ran into the process a fair ways before aborting out of it . .
