I thought I would put an update on this thread. I finally was able to mesa patches for the r300 driver to work. I was not correctly applying the patches the last time I tried. I decided to revisit and this used the "--dry-run" option to verify they were correctly applying. Now I have 3D on my iBook

Hello! The 3d acceleration don't work, how do I activate it? I assume I haveto edit /etc/X11/XF86config-4. And do I need a different kernel? I'm using the default kernel (2.6.8). I'm using Debian Sarge "testing". Björn Johansson
