Hi all!
Does any of you know whether there is any usb microphone (or webcam with
in built microphone) which can be used with linuxppc running on an old

Thanks for your attention.

Hi Pierre,
thanks for the link. However I do remember that a few sellers do
advertize the 512MB as being fit for iBook 300Mhz!

Hi all!
is any of you ever been able to install a 512MB SODIMM RAM on a first
generation iBook?
I tested a couple of such stuff with no success and could only install
256Mb. However, some sellers still claim their 512Mb sodimms would fit!
Thanks for your attention.

I should have thought to look into ybin before posting ;-) Anyway, the
error was caused by the non-existence of a '/root/.tmp' dir!
I still lack a dual boot, but this is another issue ... (I'm almost
convinced, at th
didn't use the '-v' option, I got no error!?]

from OF, wouldn't it be possible, in
case of a larger disk, to partition it up to the maximum capacity Apple
OF is able to see, and leave to Linux to deal with the remaining space ?
Thanks for your attention.

Ennio.
