for mass storage in 2.2.x is
"experimental". I know nothing about being able to boot via USB mass
storage.
I have no experience with firewire. A SCSI PCMCIA card works fine on my
laptop to connect our external DVD-RAMS for backups.

That leads me back to the question for to the name of the debian package
to give to apt-get source --compile to get X4 compiled. I seem to be
unable to find that by myself.

"fbset -x". It looks like a sensible modeline for the StudioDisplay Flat
Panel Display we have.

3-button emulation to work. Turning it on in /proc/sys/dev/mac_hid has no
effect. A Logitech USB wheelmouse worked just great though.

transmits a few 10 MB of data at most, thus taking load of the CD image
servers. The bonus you get is that if a CD image should get updated, say
rev1, you only have to rsync again instead of pulling the whole 650MB
again.
The only gripe I had was that I had to try a lot of rsync servers be
possible at all on a Mac?
