How many frames does the apple DVD player drop, though? I'm almost
certain it's nonzero on my Pismo 400.

Early 2.4 kernels had a problem with aumix that required a patch. This
patch has long since been merged.

I have gotten it to compile, although I've never actually gotten around to
setting up the encrypted filesystems. I'm not sure the patches will apply
now, since the most recent one is for 2.4.3

Well, mac serial ports are rs232, just a different connector. I'm not sure
about how well serial mice are supported in the ppc X/linux trees, though.

can think of is A) your trackpad doesn't work, or B) Some option was not
compiled in when it should have been.

This is probably a stupid question to ask, but you are directing the sound
to the correct /dev/dsp device, right? The USB audio is probably on the
second one.

I have 2 questions:
One: How would I migrate my pismo to a journalling filesystem. I'm not
up to date on the current install images, can I just reinstall with a
newer CD and magically put root on a non ext2 filesystem?
Two: XFS or Reiser?

This might be the problem I had on my pismo. When I migrated from 4.0.1
to 4.0.2 X would crash (I don't remember at what point, though). One day,
Tired of constantly recompiling, I turned on UseFBDev, and i

I'm running Sid, I re-installed libc6, that didn't work, tried to compile
it, at which point I was informed I'd need: kernel-headers-2.4, mig,
hurd-dev, gnumach-dev, texi2html, and gcc-3.0-sparc64
If anybody could tell me what's going on here, I'd be mos

Actually, I just remembered: Isn't there a way to switch the keys around
so that the volume and backlight keys are activated by the Fn key and the
Fx keys work without the Fn modifier?

Thanks, that did help. For some reason, I was expecting to use the
alt/option key instead. I had tried holding down random keys in the
lower-left corner, but that only gets you so far.
