X is behaving very oddly on my 2002 700Mhz iBook (radeon m6 LW) running
2.6.0-test9/unstable. At first, it worked without any problems (aside from DRI
hard-locking the system, but that's probably a kernel issue). However, after

I, too, cannot print from cups anymore and don't have a clue why - no
log messages help - but I'm using 2.4.20-benh1...
I'd like to know how to debug this.

I tested powerpc-smp kernel and modules on Umax S900 running sid.
No problem with quik boots fine.
But I miss CONFIG_HIGHMEM to support all ram and the dri module for the

And I can not print with cups. Dont know why there are no errors in the

Hi
I just tested the small flavour on pmac and it works well. All the
issues present in -2 seem to be resolved. Thanks for your work on the
powerpc kernel.

List,
I am sure that the message title alone may solicit deep sighs, rolling
of the eyes, and cries of "not again!". I had installed Debian Woody
on a Titanium PowerBook G4 500MHz (the Titanium II, I believe) and was
amazed at how well it went and at how much info I found that really hit

Hello,
I have prepared a new version of the powerpc kernel packages (2.4.22-3).
Again, they are still hold up in NEW, until a ftp-master deigns to find
time for looking at it or at least provide feedback about what is wrong
with them, but i have also made them available in the meantime at :

Hi,
We tested debian-installer (daily build from a day ago) on a ppc64 box
and found a few issues. To keep life interesting, we also used a 2.6
kernel.
1. Installer requires devfs support. In 2.6 devfs is pretty much
deprecated, so it would be nice if d-i could handle a non devfs kernel.
