Was it hard? Did you have any problems? Are you experiencing lower
battery lifetimes due to the 5400rpm drive? Which model did you install?

But I'd like to play a movie which is in .cue .bin -format.
To do so I'd like to use vlc. But vlc doesn't wants to play any sound.
How can I watch a movie which is in .cue .bin -format (which programm

I've got hold of this RS/6000 from work (they bought a flight case
from a company which went bust, and unexpectedly found a computer
inside).

The badge says "RISC System/6000 380"
It has a sticker with "128Mb, 9Gb, CD, 8mm" on the top.
It doesn't have anything I recognise

Hi to
everybody!
I am trying to

Hi,
This is my first post on this list because I've never
used a Mac before until yesterday when a buddy of mine
gave me one of his old Mac's...so I decided to put
Linux on it. I've been using Sun's for about 10 years
and Linux on PC's for a few years now, so I thought

You have to access it simply as /dev/hdb or /dev/scd0. Do a dmesg | less
and look for what the /dev entry is as
testing...
