No. Networking is Big Endian. And the PPC was designed to be both.

In sawfish you can bind "/sbin/fblevel off" and
"/sbin/fblevel on" to shortcut keys ( I used M-F1 , M-F2 )
I don't know if this will work for the rade

Hello,

Minutes. Is there a way to turn the screen off manually perhaps with a
key shortcut?
My laptop is an ibook2 with the radeon (2x USB, 700 MHz).
Another thing: Is the ibook able to do a hot-switch of batteries?

If you have a radeon chip, you can use the XFree 4.2 binaries from
Michel (http://penguinppc.org/~daenzer/) to use an external monitor. I
attach my XFConfig-4 (for my TiBook) as an example.
So how didn't the attachment made it to the Mailinglist.

Actually, all of the world _is_ big endian. One of the only exceptions
to this is the x86. Except for this and a

I hadn't sent an update on these packages, but XFree86 4.2.1 pre-release
packages are now available for the five architectures mentioned in the
subject line, as well as for Alpha, i386, and SPARC, which were already
announced.

You are right, that the problem is endiannes, because
I wanted to know what is going on, so I switched back
to ALSA and
modified the Alsa output plugin for xmms, so that it
swaps
the endiannes of the data, which goes through it and
the ogg/mp3 now plays very well, but wav causes the
noise.

It wouldn't be all too useful because it wouldn't use it. ;) It just
detects what's connected but only drives one head.

so last night I gutted my systemm and started over with testing, as

I decided to test out external video again today on my iBook2 500, which

After starting X4.2 (Branden's testing packages) and then going back
into console mode m3mirror gave a steady picture on the display (it used
to wobble around), although there was some cruft on the
