Ah, that fixed it. The one which was broken was from the 16/09/2002 at
around 9h30 pm (2.4.20-pre5), just in case you want to know.

Previous one (with the bug) : ~ 1700 mA and does not increase if the cpu
is used heavily (yes>/dev/null).

With the current one I get 1100 mA consistently when idle --- this is
with full backlight, an optical USB mouse, and the airport running, at
667 MHz.
