losing space on my C drive even when I haven't loaded any new programs or
downloaded anything?? In the past week it's dropped from 1.17 GB to
903 MB. My Norton Virus Scan finds nothing.

I had the same problem, it was solved by installing X 4.2 . X 4.2 is
already available on the 'unstable' servers (which saves you a lot of
work!)
