Hello Debian-World,
I wanted to update my system yesterday with dselect, but somehow, I must
have typed something wrong, because dselect wants to remove some important
.debs (although they are marked as installed).
My question: How do I tell dselect to "forget" this stupid selection, or

I bought a Netgear FA510c eth card, compiled the cardbus and tulip modules that

It just may be yer lucky day!! I too own a Digital Hinote ( a screaming
DX-50 ) that I ran into this glitch with. Take a peek at the following URL
and see if this may not apply to you too.

I have many problems using Xfree on a Digital Hinote II laptop.
After an undefined period of time keyboard and trackball hangs and the only
way to exit is to turn the computer off or kill the process via telnet.
(kill 2431 in the example).
Anyone can help me? Thanks

Sup guys, new addition to the list here. I've been using linux since the
2.0.30 days, and debian since hamm was popular. Almost tried to become a
developer once but I couldn't find any interesting packages to manage, and I
didn't really like the idea of getting 200+ emails a day from debian-devel

had mine for almost 2 years and it works great. All the hardware is
supported (i don't use USB or IR, so i can't speak for those). They also
are currently selling machines with RedHat preinstalled. The advantage is

to always work so much better for me that way. It doesn't hurt anything,
because you can (as you may well know) boot windows ME from the LILO prompt.
