-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Well GrandWiz,
It just may be yer lucky day!! I too own a Digital Hinote ( a screaming DX-50 ) that I ran into this glitch with. Take a peek at the following URL and see if this may not apply to you too. REMEMBER!! if you are compiling your kernel on a bigger/faster machine, use a completely different location for this kernel ( e.g. do NOT use the same kernel for machines "other" then the HiNote!!). If you hack the kernel as this article advises, you WILL notice a considerable slowdown on the faster boxes!! http://web.gnu.walfield.org/mail-archive/linux-kernel/1999-November/2155.html On Thursday 16 November 2000 16:03, Guandalf as accused of writting this dirge: > > I have many problems using Xfree on a Digital Hinote II laptop. > > After an undefined period of time keyboard and trackball hangs and the only > way to exit is to turn the computer off or kill the process via telnet. > (kill 2431 in the example). > > Anyone can help me?
