I have the same card, upgrade your kernel to >= 2.2.13.
It fixed my problem.

Hi!
Maybe you want to look at this:
http://falcon.sch.bme.hu/~seasons/linux/swsusp.html
It's a patch to allow hibernation to your swap.
I didn't test it yet but I'm at it.

After much struggle I finally got X running. Wow it feels great!
Still the display is not so good, but at least X is starting now.
Thanks to Mitch, Sean, Greg and the others for your guidance.

comments,
to save you the time to post them y

I have a Dell Lattitude CP with a Xircom 33k6 Eth/modem combo. I installed
slink with no problems. The card is recognised and configured properly and
the ethernet device works.
Problem is the modem. I can see no errors in the syslog file (attached), but

Yep, loading pcmcia first. Can get the pcmcia modem to work fine, but
not the card. I think I'm going to try potato(e) with the later
version of cardmgr and see if that does the trick. The card is listed
as supported on the pcmcia web site, but of course I didn't check
versions. (doh!)
thanks.
