I`ve seen the comercial server of rp-pppoe and it`s interesting , but controls
too much what i can or cannot do.I wantende sth to implement on a running debian
system so i can control my wireless user in the ISP.

I would want to have my own webhosting (for friends etc.), could
someone help me how to set up a debian for it, if there is better have
for each web special user or what ?
My imagine:
1. Apache with PHP, and some cgi could be enabled (perl, etc.)
2. FTP for each Apache web

your config would be helpful.
Do you use mod_php or the php cgi version?
Do you run php in safe mode?
suexec works for the php cgi version, and I wouldn't say it is unofficial :)

my former company, Nextra Deutschland, is successfully using RT as the
central ticketing system and as far as I know it works pretty good. Good
user acceptance, pretty stable and really fast.

By default, debian's apache comes with ~username directories enabled
you can start there www.yourserver.com/~dude1/ should bring up
/home/dude1/public_html/index.htmlthats there for free...in def
