I try to install wicd-daemon on another machine and the installation
went at end without any problem.
The problem should very specific to the first machine where the
installation failed. Will try to investigate further when I will be back
from some holidays.

Hi,
squeeze and wheezy contain python-gobject 2.21.4+is.2.21.3-1 and
2.28.3-2, respectively. Both of these versions provide
python2.5-gobject. I'm applying the sid tag for now so that this bug
is removed from the list of release-critical bugs affecting squeeze.
