udeb files had localized templates.
I found /var/lib/cdebconf/templates.dat has only English messages, not
localized messages. IMHO udpkg or cdebconf has something bad
thing. Before to release d-i beta4, this should be fixed.

/lib/debian-installer.d/S25env2debconf does to set debconf variable from
cmdline, but debconf-set works only when templates file includes such a
parameter, doesn't it?
We can't provide debconf value for udeb packages are loaded by anna
dynamically.

Can we release beta5 sooner than we planned?
Of course release management is too hard for only Joey and snapshot is
there, but 'release beta' calls more testers and catches more hidden
serious bugs.

I found IDE CD device was set as group 'disk' still, not
'cdrom' even if I installed from IDE CD.
Of couse users can mount because 'user' option is defined at
/etc/fstab, but it is more friendly to set group 'cdrom' on this

I think his problem is on 1st stage.
I don't know about alpha arch, but I assume framebuffer isn't ready for
his alpha machine. If d-i can't use framebuffer, all of you can use
practically is only English or a few latin languages.

If we adopt 2.2.18pre kernel to new potato, ALSA packages must be
upgrade also. Potato's version (0.4.1i) couldn't be compile with
2.2.18pre, but woody's version (0.5.9d) is fine.

Please unblock ttf-cjk-compact 1.11.
This package has CJK fonts are needed for newer d-i.
I believe it's safe to unfreeze this package usually because
this udeb package is related with only CJK fonts of GUI d-i.

Well, led-class.ko is 10049 bytes and make core-modules.udeb size
from 5590 bytes to 7820 bytes. If it is acceptable, I'll commit
my changeset.

I didn't find 149.20.2.135 in recent 5 weeks logs.
I restarted CDN-DNS server of my
7;t find any problems or regressions about this udhcpc
with normal DHCP server also.
I believe it is worth to consider for stable-updates.

I think installing a font package and refresh font by it

ry later your ISO image, but at least some thin glyph looks be taken
from zh.ttf instead of ja.ttf, even ja.ttf includes correct glyph.
